SNOW DAYS........ and Play Dates

So, here we are in the midst of a snowstorm..... a day that I often wait for, when the snow is falling so heavily and the only thing to do is stay home and tackle those projects like straightening out my drawers or closets. Maybe even unpack some of those boxes that are stored down in the basement from when I moved into this house 3 years ago!  I always have great plans for days like these, and yet, somehow I am never in the mood to organize when the day finally arrives.......

So, come on guys....... let's go outside and have some fun!

There's always another day!

Carol,

Fresh snowfalls are pure joy! I hope you will take time out to relax in front of a roaring fire, wrapped in something warm and comfy.

Snow days are like unexpected holidays. I remember, as a child, waking up and listening for the sound of a laboring snow plow going up the street because a laboring snow plow = HUGE snow fall which = NO School!

Enjoy you day, and stay warm.

they are so cute, i would have gone and played to! You must not have the wonderful winter temps we are having. A polar bear would cry in this.

The snow is ok, we got a lot more out here, but the ICE is the pits!

I love snow days! The schools let the kids out early yesterday so (when I should have been working), I chose to make them cookies and hot chocolate instead. Your dogs are so cute. I have puppy fever right now. Just trying to decide when is the right time. Have a great weekend!

It's 40-degrees here and my south Texas poodles ran to the door to go out this morning... I opened the door and they ran right back into their little warm beds. I had to coax them outside by staying out their with them while they took care of their business... Nope... I don't think they'd fair well in your snow.. but I'm going to show them the pics of your pup anyway... just to show them how bad it could really be! ;)

How cute! They look like kids playing in the snow! My dog Beau would be freezing! He doesn't even like to be out very long when it down to the 40s in the morning. Lately it has been in the 40s when I leave for work and then by the afternoon it's up into the 70s!
