I'm swooning over the beautiful red roses. I'm always depressed once the bright, colorful Christmas decorations are put away. Everything seems so blah.
But, those red roses are smile-inducing and a much needed dash of color during the winter months.

Hi Carol, i just found your blog from reading Cindys romantic home blog. That conservatory of yours is beyond beautiful! Your blog is now on my follow list. blesssings, starrydeborah
My passion for flowers began as a little girl when my grandmother inspired me to plant my first flower garden. I remember her growing breathtaking zinnias in huge old tomato cans sitting on her porch. She didn't have money for decorative planters, so she just used her imagination. I would love to have those old vintage cans with zinnias in glorious colors spilling from them. That passion for flowers and designing with them has followed me my entire life, and eventually was the inspiration behind starting my own business and opening a flower shop 10 years ago when Meadowsweet was born. Today, my days are spent creating beautiful floral arrangements and wreaths, and helping others beautify their homes on the North Shore of Long Island where I live

I love this time of year...February, cherubs, roses, love!
Love that cherub...is that a lamp base?
Have a lovely evening!
Hi Kathleen..... The cherub holds a very large, 3 wick pillar candle.

Carol, Love the Cherub! It's so inviting with that cute little sign on it. Cherubs are one of those contagious items I love to collect too. ~CC
I like that cherub also. I've seen so many beautiful things this week--I've got the bug..so tomorrow I'm off to shop for my home.
Yes, Cherubs are another weakness..... count them among the many weaknesses I have! :)
