What a fun trip. I use to go to the furniture mart and what fun that was. I live in the desert and have just posted my desert oasis. It shows some of the best we can do in such heat. I would love for you to check it out at www.astrollthrulife.blogspot.com. I look forward to your future posts. The slide photos of that precious little angel are just too cute. Marty
Carol, I hope you are enjoying your trip and wearing comfortable shoes! It would be so interesting to see the differences in the markets. I've gone to Dallas, KC and Chicago. I would think the NY one would be very nice.
I received my copy of Artful Blogging. THANK YOU so very much for that. It is wonderful and I am really enjoying it. I showed my winning on my blog today! :)
Carol, Have a super time! I can't imagine how much fun that must be. I went to the PA Flower Show in Phila some years back, and it was mind blowing to see the beauty there. It's the only thing huge that makes me wonder how nice the gift show must be. Looking forward to chatting when you return! ~CC Catherine (You must check out my Meta Monday makeover using Leopard stretch pants to cover my teency stool, it's a riot, but cute)
My passion for flowers began as a little girl when my grandmother inspired me to plant my first flower garden. I remember her growing breathtaking zinnias in huge old tomato cans sitting on her porch. She didn't have money for decorative planters, so she just used her imagination. I would love to have those old vintage cans with zinnias in glorious colors spilling from them. That passion for flowers and designing with them has followed me my entire life, and eventually was the inspiration behind starting my own business and opening a flower shop 10 years ago when Meadowsweet was born. Today, my days are spent creating beautiful floral arrangements and wreaths, and helping others beautify their homes on the North Shore of Long Island where I live
