A LONG WINTER'S NAP.......

Thank you lovely garden for bringing so much pleasure to me, and to all those who visited this summer........

The fountains are covered and tucked away to ward off winter's icy chill........

Four hundred Pink Tulips and Purple Giant Allium planted deep in their winter's nests......
Garden Angel please watch over my sleeping garden until Spring arrives once again......

Oh, I meant to find some allium bulbs this morning when I was out shopping! You reminded me. You have lovely flowers. I learned from watching my great-grandmother in her garden. When I think of her, I always thing of Phlox for some reason. And Four O'clocks.

A truly beautiful post... I can hardly wait to see that fountain being uncovered.... I'm already dreaming of spring, believe me, and winter hasn't even started yet... ;) Your garden looks lovely, I love that angel statue. Now you really have to show more pics of your garden.... :)

Hugs

Hi! The sauce was mostly successful. I have 2 things I need to work on, I do beleive I should have mashed up the garlic cloves??? I peeled them and put them in and tried to mash them but I think I need a garlic masher..so the flavoring would have been better. Then, I didnt have the correct knife to chop the fresh basil and some of it was in chunks! lol..but boy could I tell a huge taste difference in fresh then dried. The meatballs were the bomb! Other than that-its great so I am on the lookout for a garlic press and a good chopping knife. Oh and yes I do have a picture--but I wont get it up probably until next week--heading out for the weekend again-its our sons 25th birthday!
